Zwift Adds AI Fatigue Detection to ERG Mode

Zwift just dropped a surprise update that’s got the indoor cycling community buzzing. The virtual cycling platform now supports automatic ERG mode adjustments based on real-time fatigue detection.

The feature uses power output variance and cadence data to detect when you’re struggling and automatically reduces target wattage by up to 5%.

Early testers report completing structured workouts they’d normally fail. “It’s like having a coach that knows exactly when to back off,” wrote one beta tester on Reddit.

The update is rolling out to all subscribers this week. No additional hardware required.
